I took a Road Trip with some friends to Zion National Park after finals. This was the result:

O Christmas Tree

While Mom and Dad were in Germany, Vance, Alison, Porter, Me, and 5 others from the Duerden clan set out of a mission to find five Christmas trees and bring them home from Price. It wasn't easy- but about 140 miles and Seven hours later, Mom and Dad have a real live tree. AND it only cost five dollars mind you. I thought I would share some pictures.

I FOUND IT!

I found our old favorite Brite Music!! Remember "I'm a VIP in my family" and "The Safety Kids"?!? I bought some and guess what? You can have some too! I will burn you a copy of them if you would like and when you all start having babies - you are going to get one because that's just what every Johnson family member needs!

Mom's Officially a Cougar!

After 30 long years, I am starting my dream of getting a degree! I am officially a cougar, rise and shout! I have declared American Studies as my major with editing as my minor. Today was the first day of classes! I am taking a Doctrine and Covenants class with Vance. I had a bit of a meltdown after (not sure I can do this!) But, never fear I have gird up my loins, fresh courage take and off I go! Next class, Effective Learning and Study on Thursday, all by myself.

Bragging Rights!

So, when Porter entered the Cutest Baby contest for the Freedom Festival he lost miserably. Not that he isn't cute - but because he can't perform for just anyone. Well, the other day I got an e-mail saying some pictures I had taken there were ready for me to review. I went on the photographer's website and discovered that out of all the kid's pic Porter was chose by the photographer to represent HIS (and our) idea of the cutest baby. Here's the link. Taft's Married!

Well, it happened... Taft is now a married man and we have a new member of the fam. That almost rhymes! Anyway, Welcome Carrie! We're glad you are a Johnson! Here's some pics I took at the wedding. I kinda forgot I had the camera so there aren't a lot... So Taft and Carrie - when you get pictures you will have to post. It was a really nice day and wonderful union.

Balloon Launch

On the fifth of July Mom and Dad went to the Hot Air Balloon Launch to take advantage of the seasonal festivities. They rode their bikes and took LOTS of pictures. Here are a few I graciously uploaded for them so they wouldn't waste hours trying to figure it out.. :)
